Junior Olypic Archery Program

Were in need of a new archery instructor to teach our junior olympic team. The course curriculum covers Field archery, Shooting targets in the woods with 3d targets or burlap sacks, equipment choices and archery safety. All of our students have basic competence in archery. It is expected that all lessons be taught with the Recurve bow however there will be one class per week that teaches the use of the compound bow. We need somebody who is good with children and has good patience. A certified archery instructor is preferred and as Junior archers, we want to give them the best possible chance at becoming a skilled archer so that they may enter competition level archery tournaments. If you have never applied to the National Archery Association before you can pick up a handout that explains what is expected of our teachers. Applications should be in by the end of July.
